At this moment we are seeking to employ


1. a Receptionist who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks such as :

  • answering and connecting phone calls
  • receiving and announcing visitors
  • logging and distributing mail (electronic and hard copies)
  • coordinating courier shipments
  • ordering office supplies

The ideal candidate :

  • possesses excellent communication and time management skills
  • is fluent in Greek and English
  • is computer literate
  • is flexible and able to work under pressure
  • has an eye for detail and a methodical approach to work
  • can work on their own but also enjoys being part of a small team

Previous experience in a similar position is considered an advantage.


2. an Assistant for the Legal department whose tasks will include:

  • drafting and proofreading legal and corporate documents
  • assisting with claims
  • monitoring and ensuring compliance with KYC and GDPR requirements
  • a range of administrative duties such as filing, taking telephone messages, scheduling meetings and checking invoices.

The ideal candidate:

  • holds a University degree
  • has several years’ experience as a paralegal or assistant in a legal/claims department of a Ship Management company or P&I Club
  • is fluent in Greek and English
  • is able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • is highly organized with a keen eye for detail
  • possesses excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills


3.  a Compliance Officer who will:

  • closely monitor all international sanctions regimes and regulations (USA, EU, UN, etc.) and report on all relevant developments.
  • screen/clear all charters/contracts entered into by the company to ensure that they are compliant with all applicable rules and regulations.
  • support the chartering pre-clearance process with respect to KYC questionnaires, corporate documents, declarations, certificates etc. as requested by each charterer/oil company/trader.
  • ensure that the company’s due diligence procedure is followed and adhered to and that relevant records are maintained to enable easy traceability and internal/external auditing.

The ideal candidate:

  • has a University Degree in Maritime studies, Transport Management, Logistics, Public Administration, International or Legal studies.
  • is able to formulate and follow standardized procedures
  • can perform under pressure when required
  • possesses excellent oral and written communication skills
  • has solid organizational and time-management skills and a strong attention to detail
  • is computer literate and able to become proficient with appropriate software
  • is able to multitask and prioritize demands/work load
  • possesses robust business ethics also with respect to confidential and sensitive issues

Previous experience in a similar position with a bank, transport company or as a paralegal will be considered an advantage.


4. a Junior Superintendent Engineer who will:

  • provide assistance to Superintendent Engineer(s)
  • monitor vessels’ operations, performance and maintenance
  • attend class inspections, dry dockings & repairs and special projects

The ideal candidate

  • holds an MSc in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering
  • is fluent in English
  • has strong communication & IT skills
  • has an eye for detail and a methodical approach to work, and
  • enjoys being part of a dynamic team

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is interested in pursuing a career as Superintendent Engineer but does not yet have the required experience, as extensive training will be provided.


5. a Marine Superintendent for the Tanker division who will:

  • liaise with the Master on a wide range of issues to ensure the safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation of each fleet
  • regularly attend vessels for Audits, 3rd party inspections and dry docks
  • prepare well-documented replies in reaction to 3rd party inspections and audits
  • keep abreast of changes in international rules and regulations and Vetting requirements
  • train crew in safe navigation and efficient operation during vessel attendance
  • interview officers and evaluate their performance
  • actively participate in fleet meetings

The ideal candidate:

  • holds a Captain Class A or B diploma
  • has a minimum of two years’ experience as a Master or four years as a C/O
  • has a few years of experience as Marine Superintendent
  • has an excellent command of the English language
  • possesses strong communication, negotiation and organization skills
  • is computer literate, flexible and resilient

Experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage.
