At this moment we are seeking to employ

 

1. a Dry Cargo Operator to  join its Marine Operations Department who will

  • be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a number of vessels and closely monitor their performance
  • provide assistance and support to vessel and Master as/when required
  • liaise with all parties involved to ensure smooth operation
  • promote inter-departmental flow of information and cooperation

The ideal candidate

  • has a University Degree in Maritime Studies or a Captain Class B Certificate
  • has a few years’ experience in a similar position
  • is fluent in Greek and English
  • has excellent communication and time management skills, and
  • enjoys being part of a dynamic team

 

2. a Superintendent Engineer who will

  • monitor vessels’ operations, performance and maintenance
  • attend class inspections, dry dockings & repairs and special projects

The ideal candidate:

  • holds an MSc in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering
  • has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • is fluent in English
  • has strong communication & IT skills
  • has an eye for detail and a methodical approach to work, and
  • enjoys being part of a dynamic team

 

3. a qualified Junior Lawyer who will assist the company’s legal team with a wide range of tasks such as drafting/proofreading legal documents, corporate matters, claims, banking compliance, legal regulatory compliance as well as various administrative duties.

The ideal candidate:

  • holds a degree in Law or is a paralegal
  • has several years’ experience in a Law firm, a P&I Club or a Legal/Claims department of a Ship Management company
  • is fluent in Greek and English
  • is able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • has a keen eye for detail and good analytical skills
  • possesses good communication and interpersonal skills

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a Law graduate who is not interested in pursuing a career as a practicing lawyer, but wishes to use their knowledge and skills in a different setting.

 

Tests may form part of the selection procedure.
