At this moment we are seeking to employ
1. a Dry Cargo Operator to join its Marine Operations Department.
The new recruit will
- be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a number of vessels and closely monitor their performance
- provide assistance and support to vessel and Master as/when required
- liaise with all parties involved to ensure smooth operation
- promote inter-departmental flow of information and cooperation
The ideal candidates
- have a University Degree in Maritime Studies or a Captain Class B Certificate
- have a few years’ experience in a similar position
- are fluent in Greek and English
- have excellent communication and time management skills, and
- enjoy being part of a dynamic team
2. a Receptionist who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks such as:
- answering and connecting phone calls
- welcoming visitors
- coordinating courier shipments
- ordering office supplies
The ideal candidate
- possesses excellent communication and time management skills
- is fluent in Greek and English, computer literate and able to multitask
- has an eye for detail and a methodical approach to work
- can work on their own but also enjoys being part of a small team
Previous experience in a similar position is considered an advantage.
3. an ICT Engineer who will
- provide technical support to users on hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
- install, configure and maintain a large range of ICT systems, applications and services
- provide technical support on board vessels and in other locations as required
- liaise with vendors and service providers to procure, support and maintain ICT products and services
The ideal candidate
- holds a University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- is fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken)
- demonstrates strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- works well on their own and as member of a team in a fast-paced environment
4. a Tanker Operator to join its Marine Operations Department.
The new recruit will
- be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a number of vessels and closely monitor their performance
- provide assistance and support to vessel and Master as/when required
- liaise with all parties involved to ensure smooth operation
- promote inter-departmental flow of information and cooperation
The ideal candidates
- have a University Degree in Maritime Studies or a Captain Class B Certificate
- have a few years’ experience in a similar position
- are fluent in Greek and English
- have excellent communication and time management skills, and
- enjoy being part of a dynamic team
5. a Vetting Officer who will
- plan and monitor the inspection schedule for the Tanker and Dry Cargo fleets
- liaise with third parties to organize inspections
- follow up on inspection results until closure
- compile reports using statistics and data
- prepare and maintain manuals and plans such as SOPEP, US VRP, CA etc.
The ideal candidate has
- a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- practical knowledge of OCIMF, RightShip, SIRE 2.0 and RISQ 3.2
- excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
- strong organizational and teamwork skills
- a Technical or Marine background
6. an IT Administrator who will
- maintain and monitor all procedures and processes related to Cyber Security
- control all IT-related purchasing activities: take offers, compare prices, place orders and keep track of the entire process
- provide assistance on issues related to the company’s ERP (help desk support and troubleshooting)
- provide support to ensure the general smooth operation of the department
The ideal candidate
- holds a degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- is fluent in English
- possesses excellent listening and problem-solving skills
- is organized with a sharp eye for detail
- is a keen team player who can multi-task in a dynamic environment
One or two years’ work experience in a similar position with a Shipping or Telecommunications company is considered an advantage.
7. Superintendent Engineers for the Dry and Tanker divisions who will
- monitor vessels’ operations, performance and maintenance
- attend class inspections, dry dockings & repairs and special projects
The ideal candidate
- holds an MSc in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering
- has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- is fluent in English
- has strong communication & IT skills
- has an eye for detail and a methodical approach to work, and
- enjoys being part of a dynamic team
